From Fortune 500 boardrooms to Main Street storefronts
Before Marsh n Main, I spent 20+ years as a digital marketing and e-commerce executive at Cox Communications, Verizon Wireless, and Motorola Mobility (as part of Google). I grew existing-customer sales volume on Cox.com by over 300% in four years, took Verizon's SEO ranking from behind AT&T to the industry lead in under six months, owned marketing email programs at all three companies that generated millions in profit, and launched Motorola's global e-commerce platform, a first-of-its-kind system that delivered custom-built phones in seven days. I hold an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
In between those roles, I bought and ran a small business of my own (a furniture business) from 2011 to 2013. That's the piece that actually matters most here. I've sat on both sides of the table. I know what it's like to approve a marketing budget as a Fortune 500 executive, and I know what it's like to watch every dollar as a small business owner. Marsh n Main exists because most small businesses never get access to the first kind of thinking, at a price that makes sense for the second.
